The Starry Skies of November
|
November skies are dominated by the great Square of Pegasus high in the South. Under the head of this upside down flying horse you will find the water jar of Aquarius. The back legs of the horse have been changed into Andromeda, the chained lady. Nestling under her armpit is one of the fish of Pisces. This large but faint constellation runs along the rear and back of Pegasus and ends in the Circlet of Pisces. Below the fishes lurks the sea monster Cetus, sent to devour fair Andromeda. |
